McFaddin-Ward House Museum Concert Series to Feature Local Band Midlife Crisis Nov. 7

Beaumont, TX; Oct. 21, 2025 – The McFaddin-Ward House Museum invites the community to an evening of sensational sounds at Music at the McFaddins’ featuring Midlife Crisis, an admission-free concert in the historic home’s beautiful gardens (1906 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont), on Friday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and refreshments to enjoy the outdoor performance by Midlife Crisis, a 10-piece Southeast Texas band that will deliver a dynamic mix of classic rock favorites. Gates open at 6 p.m.
“We’re looking forward to Midlife Crisis’ first performance at the McFaddin-Ward House,” said Executive Director Jeffrey Richardson. “The band is a local favorite with a little bit of something for everyone, so you won’t want to miss this opportunity to see them live at our historic venue—a setting like no other in Beaumont. The Museum team is honored to continue the McFaddin family’s tradition of entertaining and community involvement.”

For the past two decades, Midlife Crisis has been a staple of the Southeast Texas music scene with a varied lineup of musicians serving in the band over the years.
“We’re really looking forward to this show,” said Blaine Duplecion, one of the lead vocalists and the harmonica player in Midlife Crisis. “It’s such a great setting. We’ll expose people to live music and just bring people together to have a good time.”
In case of inclement weather, Music at the McFaddins’ will be cancelled.
Built in 1905-1906 in the distinctive Beaux-Arts Colonial style, the McFaddin-Ward House reflects the lifestyle of the prominent family that lived in the house for 75 years. The museum features admission-free tours, educational programming, year-round events, a carriage house exhibit, and gardens.
