“Sew In Love” Homeschool Workshop
For Ages 5 – 18

The McFaddin-Ward House Education Department will offer a “Sew In Love” Homeschool Workshop for ages 5–18 on Tuesday, February 4, from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the museum’s Visitor Center (1906 Calder Avenue, Beaumont).

Participants will make a handcrafted Valentine and receive an introduction into embroidery.

There is no fee for this event. Reservations are required as space is limited.

**Please note: This is not a drop off event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

“Victorian Era Etiquette” Homeschool Workshop 
For Ages 5 – 18

The McFaddin-Ward House Education Department cordially invites homeschoolers and their parent/guardian to attend a “Victorian Era Etiquette” Homeschool Workshop for ages five through 18 on Thursday, May 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the McFaddin-Ward House porch (1906 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont).

Guests will learn how tea became a staple of high society and practice proper Victorian etiquette at a tea party. A sampling of treats and tea options will be available for all attendees. Victorian or Edwardian attire is recommended, including hats and gloves, but period dress is not required for participation.

There is no fee for this event. Reservations are required as space is limited.
