Beaumont, TX; March 9, 2026 – The McFaddin-Ward House Museum will present Music at the McFaddins’ featuring The StringBenders, an admission-free outdoor concert, on Friday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. on the Museum lawn (1906 McFaddin Ave., Beaumont).
The StringBenders, an energetic five-piece band based in Houston, will perform an eclectic mix of classic and current country, classic rock, and Zydeco-style music with beloved anthems and timeless hits from greats like George Strait, Merle Haggard, and the Eagles. From their early days in Honky Tonks to playing at private events around Texas today, the group has developed a versatile style through more than 25 years of entertaining audiences together.
Band member Tracy Park says The StringBenders are looking forward to playing at the historic McFaddin-Ward House.
“We’re tuned up and ready to go, and it’s going to be a really great show,” Park said. “It’s fun to put out live music and to see live music executed well. Live music still holds a big place for a lot of people.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and refreshments. Gates open at 6 p.m., and music begins at 6:30 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, “Music at the McFaddins’” will be cancelled.
