Popular Local Acoustic Duo to Perform at McFaddin-Ward House Museum on Oct. 8

Beaumont, TX; Sep. 21, 2026 – The McFaddin-Ward House Museum Concert Series will present Music at the McFaddins’ featuring Curse and the Cure on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6:30 p.m. The admission-free outdoor performance is open to all ages and will be held on the historic home’s east lawn (1906 McFaddin Ave., Beaumont).

Local favorites Curse and the Cure—husband and wife acoustic duo Jason and Norma Touchette—will showcase their incredible range, amazing harmonies, and dynamic vocals across a wide variety of genres. The couple will play an eclectic mix of familiar hits ranging from Fleetwood Mac to the Eagles to 90s country to TLC.

“We are very excited to perform at the McFaddin-Ward House,” said Norma Touchette of Curse and the Cure. “We love outdoor settings, and we have some new things that we’re working on. We’ve added about 20 new songs people aren’t used to hearing us play. It all falls within the same genre of songs they may recognize but might not have known could be played acoustic.”

The Touchettes are both Port Neches natives and have been performing together locally, nationally, and internationally since 2014. They have opened for national and regional acts such as Reba McEntire, the Charlie Daniels Band, and Pat Green.

Music at the McFaddins’ attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and refreshments to enjoy a great evening of live entertainment. Gates will open at 6 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.
