Registrar and Assistant Curator
A Beaumont native, Katherine graduated from the University of Alabama in the fall of 2023, earning a bachelor’s degree in history with a focus on the American South. While pursuing her degree, she worked for Historic Tuscaloosa, serving as a docent for three of the organization’s historic homes. Katherine gained additional experience and developed a deep admiration for the collections and curatorial departments of historic homes during an internship with the Beaumont Heritage Society.
Katherine is a graduate of All Saints Episcopal School as well as Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School in Beaumont and credits her history teachers at these schools for developing and consistently supporting her love of history. In her free time, she loves spending time with her hometown friends, her family, and her dogs. Katherine is excited to be back in Beaumont and immerse herself in the organizations that she admired throughout her childhood.
