Music at the McFaddins’ featuring Jimmy Simmons & Friends

Join us on Friday, October 18 for an evening of fantastic sounds on our beautiful grounds at Music at the McFaddins’ featuring Jimmy Simmons and Friends. Gates open at 6 p.m. with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the McFaddin-Ward House lawn (1906 McFaddin Ave., Beaumont).

Simmons and his band will perform of a wide variety of classics from the big band era through modern day hits. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks as they gather on the historic home’s grounds to enjoy a great evening of live entertainment.

A member of the faculty and leadership team at Lamar University for more than four decades and President Emeritus of the university, Simmons is an accomplished musician and talented orchestra leader with an active performance career spanning beyond his tenure at Lamar. Simmons and his outstanding group of musicians will perform of a wide variety of classics from the big band era through modern day hits.

The event is admission free and open to the public.

In case of inclement weather, Music at the McFaddins’ will be cancelled.
