Lecture: “Lone Star Lala: Texas and Zydeco Music”

May 7, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Zydeco music, the legendary genre of music that bubbled up out of the swamps in Cajun country, is often seen as a Louisiana-only type of music. But Texas, and specifically southeast Texas, has played a major role in the formation of zydeco music.
