Homeschool Workshop: Conservation with Sea Rim State Park

The McFaddin-Ward House Education Department will offer “Conservation with Sea Rim State Park,” a free Homeschool Workshop for ages 8 – 12, on Tuesday, March 17, in the McFaddin-Ward House Visitor Center (1906 Calder Avenue, Beaumont) from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Park Ranger, Laura, from Sea Rim State Park will teach a lesson on the conservation of Texas Coastal lands, which consist of prairies, wetlands, and estuaries, and the habitats of native species such as Attwater’s prairie chicken, the bobwhite quail, and mottled duck.
