“Art in the Yard” Fall Community Picnic

Join us for our next community picnic event and neighborhood tour!

It’s “Art in the Yard” at this year’s picnic! Picnickers are invited to dine al fresco on the museum grounds and enjoy a relaxing evening while listening to the easy jazz sounds of “The Community Quartet.” Bring your favorite art supplies or just a picnic and a quilt or chairs and set up on the front lawn of the museum. The event is free and open to everyone.

Free first-floor tours of the museum will be offered, and information on the “Our Town” project will be available for those interested in touring what would have been the McFaddins’ neighborhood to learn about the businesses and homes in the area–both old and new. Guests will also learn about a few of the McFaddin traditions and try some fun hands-on activities on our grand front porch.
