A free conservation and valuation clinic, led by Ken Farmer, will be held at the Visitor Center on Friday, May 13 at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. by appointment only.
Appointments are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Items are limited to one per appointment with two appointments available per person/couple.
A lifelong resident of Virginia,
Ken Farmer has been an avid student and collector of Americana and Southern material culture since 1974. Farmer operated two auction houses until 2015, and is an established advisor, appraiser, and auctioneer in all categories of fine and decorative art.
He has appeared on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow since its inception in 1996 as a specialist in folk art, furniture, decorative arts and musical instruments.
