Field Trips

• Customizable tours of the historic McFaddin-Ward House, Carriage House and gardens feature TEKS-aligned field trips with hands-on object-based learning opportunities connecting to various disciplines.
• The McFaddin-Ward House and the John J. French House (a Beaumont Heritage Society property) can partner to offer a “100 Years of History” field trip perfect for students studying Texas or American History in grades 4, 7, and 11.
• All field trips include both pre/post activities and lessons to reinforce the connection to greater historical concepts.
• Transportation grants may be available for on-site visits.
