SUMMARY:Homeschool Workshop – Snap Happy Holidays
DESCRIPTION:The McFaddin-Ward House Education Department will offer “Snap Happy Holidays\,” a free Homeschool Workshop for ages 8 – 12\, on Tuesday\, December 16\, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Museum’s Visitor Center (1906 Calder Avenue\, Beaumont). \nStudents will receive a tutorial in cell phone photography focusing on how to capture superb selfies this holiday season. Hands-on activities include creating holiday character-themed selfie props and taking instant photos and selfies with a festive backdrop. Participants will also enjoy a walk-through tour of the first floor of the historic home magnificently decorated for the holiday season. \nThere is no fee for this event. Reservations are required as space is limited. \n**Please note: This is not a drop off event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nRegistration is now open! Please complete the registration form\, linked here\, to hold your place or contact the Museum’s Education Department at 409-832-1906.
