SUMMARY:Craft & Share Workshop for Seniors – A Joyful Advent: Wreath Making
DESCRIPTION:The McFaddin-Ward House Museum invites senior adults (65+) to join in our “A Joyful Advent: Wreath Making” Craft & Share Workshop on Tuesday\, November 18\, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Museum’s Visitor Center Lecture Hall (1906 Calder Ave. in Beaumont). \nA long-standing Christmas tradition is the making of an Advent wreath. Attendees will learn the history behind the wreath and what it stands for while making a wreath to bring home. The McFaddin family were lifelong members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where Advent has been celebrated for many decades. Bring a friend and come enjoy the morning with us. \nThere is no fee for this event. Reservations are required as space is limited. \nUpdate: Registration is now full. To join our waitlist\, contact the Museum’s Education Department at 409-832-1906.
