SUMMARY:Homeschool Workshop – Victorian Era Etiquette
DESCRIPTION:The McFaddin-Ward House Education Department cordially invites homeschoolers and their parent/guardian to attend “Victorian Era Etiquette\,” a free Homeschool Workshop for ages 8 – 12 on Tuesday\, April 14\, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Museum’s Visitor Center (1906 Calder Avenue\, Beaumont). \nGuests will learn how tea became a staple of high society\, practice proper tea party manners with treats and lemonade\, learn to write thank you cards\, and enjoy tea party-themed relay games. \nVictorian or Edwardian Era attire\, including hats and gloves\, is encouraged but not required for participation. \nRegistration is not required\, but seating is limited. \n**Please note: This is not a drop off event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nFor any questions\, contact the Museum’s Education Department at 409-832-1906. \n
