SUMMARY:SOAR Family Day 2024
DESCRIPTION:This March\, the McFaddin-Ward House will present the 2nd Annual SOAR Celebration\, a month-long colorful display of butterflies throughout the outdoor campus featuring several special events. \nThe highlight of the celebration will be SOAR Family Day\, held on the McFaddin-Ward House grounds on Sunday\, March 3\, from 11am to 3pm. The festive springtime event will include family activities\, live music performances by the Community Band of Southeast Texas and Rustic Bird\, food trucks\, picnicking on the grounds\, garden and butterfly related crafts\, local artist Butterfly Garden display\, butterfly ride-on bikes\, the Houston Museum of Natural Science Bug Cart\, booths from the Sabine-Neches Master Naturalists and Tyrell Park Nature Center\, and more. \nOther SOAR offerings during March will be a fun family Texas Trivia Night on Thursday\, March 14. \nAll SOAR events are free and open to the public.
